Botswana Guides Association, commonly known as BOGA, was established in 1999 at the request of Professional Guides in Maun, Botswana. A platform for Guides and Small Safari Operators to express their concerns and needs regarding the tourism industry. It is a networking and advisory organization that focuses particularly on the growth and development of tourism. Since its inception, BOGA has made great strides in assisting guides to acquire training, education and guide licenses.
